to NETA, North East Transwomens Alliance. NETA is a transwomen’s health and
support organization founded by transgender women to increase the health and
well-being of our community. MISSION STATEMENT NETA is dedicated to the health and well-being of transgender women living in New England. We provide a warm friendly and safe place for transgender women to meet and receive support, information, and community connection. Our mission is to support and empower transgender women wherever they are in their process of transition and identity. NETA is here to help you identify your priorities and address your concerns. NETA offers up-to-date and informative narratives, editorials, and many resources to assist you in maintaining your body, mind and emotional well-being. Our door is open to all transgender or gender variant individuals, however they identify, who feel our services would be of benefit. NETA
is your place. We are all here for each other. We welcome you to bring your
thoughts, ideas, concerns and anything else you wish to share or take away.

provides a weekly support group for transgender women on Wednesdays 7-9pm at 156
Cabot St. Beverly MA. Friendly welcoming well-trained and educated staff
facilitates the group. Many activities and informative discussions take place on
a weekly basis, including guest speakers, movies, and workshops. NETA
operates a website that includes links to resources, events and monthly
newsletter and editorial. NETA provides referrals to health and support services for transgender women. NETA
collaborates with other providers and agencies to increase the health and
well-being of transgender women, and reduce health disparities. CONFIDENTIALITY NETA complies with HIPAA regulations regarding all clients,
staff, and potential clients. Client information is not made public to any third
parties, including emails and personal disclosures. Any person in contact with
NETA is a potential client. If any client would like NETA staff to
confer with a third party about their care ( i.e. referrals) that client must
sign a release agreement form stating that purpose. Client confidentiality is a
